Some scrapbookers get excited over cool stickers and some get excited over cool paper. Me.....I have a weakness for great adhesive! Nothing stays on a scrapbook page without a good adhesive.
Tonight I discovered a great use for my Liquid Glass from Close to My Heart. Most people use it to make glossy accent embellishments for projects. I found out it is the perfect adhesive for attaching loose rhinestones. I was working on a project tonight where I had to attach really tiny rhinestones and that is normally a nightmare for me. However, I decided to try the Liquid Glass out and it worked perfectly! It grabbed it quick and dried quick. I am very glad I got my Liquid Glass!
If you have this same issue with loose rhinestones or tiny embellishments in your projects and would like to grab some Liquid Glass please visit my Close to My Heart website at:

365 Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Project #2
Glass Etched Paper Weight
I had a lot of fun making this project. I bought the glass weight at my area craft store. I chose the image off of the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I cut the design out of vinyl, placed it on my glass and then etched the design.
Once I etched the design I played around with my silver Rub n' Buff and alcohol inks and figured out I could color the etching. This project was so quick and easy and would be a really cute gift for teachers or even for Mother's Day.

Stickles Organization Box
This is a great container I made up for a friend of mine, Tracey at Garden of Grace. I cut the canvas to size in a special way so that they wouldn't slip around when put together. I then assembled all the pieces and put them inside her box. We were really happy with how snug they fit in the box. It will hold up to 96 standard size Stickles bottles.

365 Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Project Challenge
I have mentioned many times since getting my Art Philosophy cartridge how much I love it and how useful I think it is. I have decided to start a challenge for myself and I am calling it the "365 Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Project Challenge". I will show 365 projects that all use the Art Philosophy cartridge in some way. For every project I make I will save the Gypsy and Design Studio files. I will provide these files to any of the followers here on my blog. Be sure to click "Join this Site" or "Follow by Email" if you would like to receive my project files. I will also be doing contests from time to time where you all can win prizes. So be sure to keep coming back and see what is going on.

365 Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Project #1
Paper Lantern
I made this cute paper lantern by working with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge from Close to My Heart and two shapes from George and Basic Shapes. I welded the shapes together with my Gypsy to create each side of the lantern. Before I attached the sides together I attached the vellum in the back side of each side. After that I was finally able to attach the sides together.
For those of you who are interested in making this cute lantern, have the Art Philosophy cartridge and have a gypsy or cricut design studio software, send me an email at Mandybydesign@yahoo.com and I will send you the files. I would love to see photos of the lanterns you make.

Welcome everyone to my new blog!
I am very excited that you stopped by to check out my blog. While my blog is fresh and new I will be actively blogging about my projects and new techniques I am learning. My goal is to help teach others like me how to grow into their own scrapbooking style. If I have said it once I will say it again, "You cannot look at other's work and think negatively about your own. You aren't scrapbooking for them, you are scrapbooking for you! It is important to do what you feel is your own style and continue to grow from there."
In the next few days I will be posting details about my first blog challenge so be sure to stop back for details!
