Glass Etched Paper Weight
I had a lot of fun making this project. I bought the glass weight at my area
craft store. I chose the image off of the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I
cut the design out of vinyl, placed it on my glass and then etched the design.
Once I etched the design I played around with my silver Rub n' Buff and
alcohol inks and figured out I could color the etching. This project was
so quick and easy and would be a really cute gift for teachers
or even for Mother's Day.

Would you like to have one of these cute paper weights? I am doing a drawing where I will be pulling someones name and that lucky person will win a paper weight just like this one. All you have to do to get in the drawing is make a comment on this post on what you think about the paper weight and the techniques that I used. You can even post questions on how I made the paperweight. I will be holding the drawing on Saturday, April 21st. Good luck everyone! :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute & practical for my desk at school. I envision school mascot in school colors. For a personal gift, you can make a wide range of designs that appeal to many people.
