This
great color chart is an easy way for you to keep track of your Close to
my Heart Ink colors. This is a chart for what will be the current 42
ink colors once the Fall/Winter 2012 Idea book debuts August 1, 2012.
This color chart starts out blank and what you do is take your favorite
small stamp and stamp it in each color block in that color. So for
example, in the Lagoon block you stamp your design in Lagoon ink. This
way you can clearly see what the color looks like when stamped.

"You are the LIGHT of my life" Card
Here is a cool card I made tonight. I got the idea for it from my friend Jayma. I literally threw this card together in 5 minutes! This year my goal was to build up a stash of card for various occasions so that in 2013 I don't have to buy a single card. This is my first one for my card box.
If you are interested in creating this card, for the rest of June all stamps from Close to my Heart are buy 2 get 1 free.
Here are the links to the supplies I used on this card:
Cricut Art Philosophy Collection
Olive Exclusive Inks® Stamp Pad
Lagoon Exclusive Inks® Stamp Pad
Sunset Exclusive Inks® Stamp Pad
Cocoa Exclusive Inks® Stamp Pad
"Just For You" Stamp Set
3" X 3" My Acrylix® Block
Few Pieces of paper and stamps from Workshops On The Go™ Stella Kit
As always, if you have any questions please feel free to email me at: mandybydesign@yahoo.com

My New Close to my Heart Exclusive Ink Inventory Chart
I designed this chart a week or so ago with the intention to use it to keep track of my Close to my Heart Ink Pads. I have a confession to make. My name is Mandy and I order doubles! I have accidentally ordered 2 colored as doubles and didn't know it until they came in the mail. So I decided it was time for an inventory chart where I could keep track of my collection.
I would like to thank my friend Ian Dreger at A Newbie Crafter for making a video on my inventory chart. He is a great new scrapbook friend of mine.
If anyone would like a copy of this chart send me an email and I will send you the details on it.

I'm finally back everyone!
You all may have been wondering why I haven't made a post lately. Things have been super crazy for me in the last few weeks and I am just now getting back into the swing of things. I am working on several new posts/projects for you all in the next few days.
I am also thinking we are overdue for a contest where you can win some goodies. I will make a post in the morning with contest details.

Great adhesive!
Some scrapbookers get excited over cool stickers and some get excited over cool paper. Me.....I have a weakness for great adhesive! Nothing stays on a scrapbook page without a good adhesive.
Tonight I discovered a great use for my Liquid Glass from Close to My Heart. Most people use it to make glossy accent embellishments for projects. I found out it is the perfect adhesive for attaching loose rhinestones. I was working on a project tonight where I had to attach really tiny rhinestones and that is normally a nightmare for me. However, I decided to try the Liquid Glass out and it worked perfectly! It grabbed it quick and dried quick. I am very glad I got my Liquid Glass!
If you have this same issue with loose rhinestones or tiny embellishments in your projects and would like to grab some Liquid Glass please visit my Close to My Heart website at:

365 Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Project #2
Glass Etched Paper Weight
I had a lot of fun making this project. I bought the glass weight at my area craft store. I chose the image off of the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I cut the design out of vinyl, placed it on my glass and then etched the design.
Once I etched the design I played around with my silver Rub n' Buff and alcohol inks and figured out I could color the etching. This project was so quick and easy and would be a really cute gift for teachers or even for Mother's Day.
